Over the course of six decades, the CINTAS Foundation has granted its fellowships and its prestigious recognition to Cuban artists. More than 400 fellowships in the fields of architecture, creative writing, music composition, photography and the visual arts have been granted since 1963.
Many of these fellows have gone on to receive national and international recognition and are exhibited in major museums and private collections around the world. In addition, the CINTAS Fellows Collection, comprised of gifts made by the Fellows to the Foundation, is believed to be the largest collection of Cuban art outside Cuba.
The CINTAS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) foundation that awards fellowships to creative artists of Cuban citizenship or Cuban lineage. The endowments would offer the donor permanent association with an internationally recognized, independently managed institution, the opportunity to support worthy artists, and the satisfaction of having made a material difference in the world of Cuban art and culture.
